Sevaashrama is a home for destitute women, which was started in may 2013, with a motive of providing home for the homeless destitute women & men. It began with serving 2 destitute women and men now the number is increasing.

  • “The most terrible poverty is loneliness and the feeling of being unloved”. As you grow older you seek to have more attention and love and here at Sevaashrama we aim at providing the best love and care to the inmates with all the facilities that is required to lead our daily life.
  • DESTITUTE WOMEN & men
  • Destitute are those who tend to live without any means of subsistence, lacking in food, clothing, shelter etc… some women and men become destitute where the family is no more and some instances arrive where the family exists but they are thrown out from their home, at Sevaashrama we provide shelter to such destitute who are above the age of 60.

  • There are many variations of passages of available but the majority have suffered alteration in that some form by words which don’t look even as slightly believable now.

An appeal

SEVAA BHAAVA charitable trust (R) has been successfully operating ‘SEVAASHRAMA’ - an orphanage for elderly destitute women since 19th May 2013.The ground floor of Sevaashrama which is meant for elderly orphan destitute women has been inaugurated by CMD of INDIAN OVERSEAS BANK Dr. M Narendra along with honorary minister for health of Karnataka state Mr. U.T. Khader. We also had Lion Governor for district 317D Ln. M.B.Sadashiv & Vice Governor Ln. K.C.Prabhu & also Lioness envoy for district 317D Lns.Geetha.R.Shetty.We had one inmate joining on the inauguration day & the next day we had three inmates who joined the orphanage.

At present there are about 37 women and the number is set to increase in coming days.The estimated cost of the building is 92 lacs. Lion & Lioness of 317D has donated 16 lacs and only 6 lacs has been received from general public. Remaining amount has been contributed by the trustees. For furniture and other equipments 10 lacs is required. To manage the day to day expenses such as food, medicine, clothing, education etc. around 1 to 1.5 lacs is required per month for 50 inmates.We the trustees, appeal to each and every good hearted human to kindly serve the needy and orphan through your kind contribution. As this cause serves GOD IN HUMANITY we look forward for your support.
